Here Come The Girls

 

This is the beautiful view over a somewhat freezing Glasgow today, it’s bright but bitterly cold, with a nice thick layer of ice covering everything… and I sat there I thought I would snap my surroundings.. yes this is where I paint !

I finished this one (foxgloves)  yesterday and added the finishing touches to the others too…

The name just seemed to fit this picture which should make you shiver with the cold but seems to have a warmth to it… must be the rosey cheeks.

For those people who feel like life goes on regardless of them, sometimes its ok to lie back and enjoy the ride…

So thats three new paintings and only a few more to go till the next pack, I hope you have all recovered from Christmas and the season of OVER do-ing it…

We are almost back up and running in the new house, the repairs on the old house have still not started and not start date as yet… it gets frustrating.  But we are positive that this is the YEAR…. we had our tricky year last year for health problems, this year we will break new grounds, get exhibitions going and get some acrylic paintings done… I really can’t wait to get back to the easel….   Mr G. is working hard to get the orders out against all odds, and we have had a nice family Christmas and new year..
